Seminar: Be Like Water – and Earth, Metal, Fire, Wind!
Learn the virtues of fighting with different elements: water, earth, metal, fire, and wind. Students will leave with a strong introduction to the 5 Elements fighting styles and which may work best for their strategy and defense. Students will also leave with 5 unique self-defense techniques demonstrating the power and effectiveness of these elements in street defense.

Where: Rising Dragon Martial Arts, 3429 W. Greenfield Ave.
When: Saturday March 30, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (90 minutes)
Presenter: Sigung Steve Jungmann
Cost: $30 WLA members / $40 Nonmembers / $5 discount if registered by March 16.

March & April Testing
Testing for block 1 will take place on Friday, March 15. Advanced Testing starts at 3 p.m. (confirm with a teacher). Beginner testing (for yellow or orange) starts at 5 p.m. The Awards Ceremony will be at 6:30 p.m.

Testing in April (block 2) will take place on Friday, April 26 at 5 p.m. Awards Ceremony 6:30 p.m. Higher rank testing will start earlier usually around 3 p.m. but check with your teacher or your test invitation.

Warriors Start on Time
For 2019 you need to be at class on time! Arrive 5-10 before class. If you late to class you will stand at attention for 5 minutes before joining class. Anyone later than 10 minutes to class will not participate but sit and watch.

Reduce Your Class Dues
Save up to $300 a year by making 3, 6 or 12 payments instead of monthly. Yearly payments equals paying for 9 months and getting 3 free months! Also a reminder that payments are due on the 1st of the month. Late fees are accessed after the 5th and 10th of a month that fees are due. Thank you for the support of our school and family!

White Lotus Spring Tournament
Saturday May 18 at Rising Dragon Martial Arts (3429 W. Greenfield Milwaukee) from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

It’s finally here – our local state tournament among the White Lotus Association schools. This is an open tournament and other schools are welcome too! Categories for completion this year are:

Forms: External (Kung Fu, Kenpo, Tae Kwon Do), Internal (Tai Chi), Weapons (External/Internal)
Sparring: Point Fighting, Push Hands, Chinese Wrestling

Non-Member Costs: 1 event: $50 + $20 each additional event. Specials: 3 events $75 or 6 events $100
White Lotus Member Costs: 1 event: $40 + $15 each additional event. Specials: 3 events $60 or 6 events $80
$10 discount if registered by April 18
$5 discount if registered by May 4

No Classes Easter Weekend
There will be no classes held at Rising Dragon for Easter/Resurrection Weekend. So no classes Saturday April 20, 2019. Have a blessed celebration for those who practice such faith!
